Q & A with Elan Carter
Anyone who’s been a Panache Report visitor knows Elan Carter, the ex-Playboy playmate turned Panache Report spokesmodel….or so it seems. We reached out to Elan to get the full story on her “relationship” with Myra Panache. What you are about to read has not been edited in any sort of way.
Panache Report Exposers: Would love to interview you about your relationship with Myra. We’ve noticed you haven’t been around anymore. Is everything alright between the two of you?
Elan Carter: I do not have any type of relationship with myra! i know of her and that is about it.
Panache Report Exposers: Really? Because Myra said you two were best friends. Your picture would often pop up on her website with the byline reading “spokesmodel” and words that were believed to be your own.
Are you saying you were never a spokesperson for her site? Was that not you commenting in her site’s commenting section? On top of spokesperson, Myra had you down as an editor and someone who people should contact via publicist Makeda Smith if they ever wanted to do an interview with either one of you guys about her website.
Elan Carter: Makeda Smith also gave my image to a article in a magazine using my image saying I wrote the article, it was about some hip hop video sex vixen, something like that, I do not recall. Anyway, I have been living in england for the past 7 years, someone informed me about it. I had to threaten the magazine that i would sue them. they had to retract their statement and say that I do not do the article. I let Myra use my image if she informed me what she was writing. I never wrote anything for her website nor did I give her any information regarding the subject matter of her site. My image was used without my permission, that is the reason why you do not see me anymore. I had to let her know that she could no longer use my image without my knowledge or I would sue!
Panache Report Exposers: I’m getting the vibe that your relationship with Myra isn’t what she makes it out to be. Because according to Myra, after you two met while she was a model scout, you guys became best friends. So much so that you named her godmother of your two children. That’s not the case?
Elan Carter: who is she saying this too? And why are you taking time to expose her, what is the motive? I think I have reason to question things because of my image and character being used but its better to ignore things and not address it. Its not worth my time, I have important things in my life, like my children so I remove myself from negativity. My children have godparents!
Panache Report Exposers: To her former website visitors and it would appear to be truth because you or someone pretending to be you commented quite a few times on her website. They spoke very highly of Myra. So anything Myra says about her relationship with you seems very believable.
Actually it is not all that better when your name is being associated with a site like the Panache Report. I understand that you are busy living your life but people are just now finding out that the Panache Report is based on lies of the most vicious kind.
We reached out to you because we believed that you were not as mixed up in any of this as Myra made it out to be. We wanted to hear from you personally instead of playing guessing games on whether or not you were as deeply involved with the Panache Report as Myra made it seem. Because a heavy percentage of former visitors of the Panache Report believe that you were the source to the blind items that were posted. We are just trying to get to the bottom of this.
Elan Carter: i know nothing about the blind items and very seldom go on the site, and when i have read them I have no idea who the blind items where about. Matter of fact a friend of mine told me about a blind item that he tried to comment on that he knew the artist and knew the info was incorrect. He asked me to contact her because he can no longer post. I do not even entertain the thought of getting involved or having my name associated with gossip. I do not like it and have said numerous times that I do not like gossip especially when it is negative. i know alot of people in the industry and i would not dare tell their business especially to a gossip site. I have a small baby, I definitely have no time to talk on the phone about nonsense!

Interesting things to point out. Elan hasn’t made an announcement on the Panache Report for quite some time now. All announcements are now made by Myra. So it is not hard for us to believe Elan’s story about Myra using her likeness without her permission. It’s also interesting that Elan said she knew of Myra. Doesn’t sound like best friends to us! Lastly, it’s funny how a friend of Elan was banned from posting after they tried to correct Myra on a blind item. Oh that Myra lol. Always banning people when her house of cards is being threatened lol.

BUT why would Elan question as to why you are trying to expose Myra? somethings off about it doesnt quite sit right with me that she doesnt sound utterly appalled that some one she claims to barely ‘know of’ is claiming her as a BFF of 13 years, I almost feel like she’s trying to distance herself, what does living in England have to do with being a spokesmodel for PR ? However, if some “anonymous” person reached out to me in regards to a mere associate whom I had only several encounters with, i’d ask what the hell is up with that as well? I would most defnitely want to know why they were trying to expose her. What the hell had she done? What does this have to do with me? IMO her response was typical of a person who was really taken aback by this whole situation. Then again, I could be wrong….
I for one do not believe that Elan is totally innocent. Elan did an interview on Myra but I do not remember the contents. If Elan is Otis Wms step daughter, I believe she could have supplied info to Myra. If she did, now that the house built of sand is falling, of course she wants to distance herself from Myra.
You know, I started feeling about this site just like I did about PR. That I could be doing something else (paperwork) instead of being addicted to what’s happening to someone who truly thought she was smarter than the rest of us. But with this new revelation…I think I will stick around for a while longer. LOL!

I was also a little suprised when she questioned the motives, however after reading J’adore’s explanation it makes a little more sense. I still believe that she was more involved than she is letting on and perhaps fed Myra a few old school tidbits back from when she was in the game. I do not believe that Elan and Myra were besties, nor do I believe that she ever had the level of involvement with the site as Myra said that she did.
Me thinks that Elan is distancing herself from Panache Report. I believe she was down with PR from the very beginning. I’ll even say that I believe she was behind a lot of the BI’s. She’s jumping ship.
Elan is lying her ass off! Of course she wants nothing to do with Myra at this point. There was too much Soul Train and Motown gossip on that site for her not to have been involved. Wasn’t there a comment on there about Otis taking Elan to a birthday party at the Jackson compound? I think she is the head madam over there…probably Myra’s boss. Why did she bring up living in England? Sounds like some more of that dummied up info. I’m sorry that interview only made me believe that Elan is not being truthful…only adding more confusion by dummying up. There is no way that she is not deeply entrenched in that mess! She needs more people!

I don’t believe Elan’s version of the story. I think she was involved with PR until all of Myra’s skeletons started to come out of the closet. I think Elan knew what Myra was up to from the very beginning. She is distancing herself now and I don’t blame her but I think she was apart of the PR circus until the very end.

To me, it wasn’t the fact that she questioned why expose myra. The tone of it seemed strange “And why are you taking time to expose her, what is the motive?” “taking the time” and wanting to know the “motive” seemed sorta cynical to me. IDK.
At first she seemed to barely know who myra was, later on she revealed a friend asked her to contact myra because he could no longer post. Why?

I forgot to say this in my first comment. I think Elan was the source for all of the Playboy Mansion gossip. Since she is a former Playmate, she probably attended several parties at the Mansion. I can understand why she wants to deny being a source for gossip but I don’t think she is being truthful. I will give her props for answering the questions.

Well, I’m sorry. I just don’t believe Elan’s story. Elan, honey, YOU NEED MORE PEOPLE!!! I feel like she knew about it all and backed Myra by allowing to use her as the PR Spokesperson. While all the while sharing what she knew about the celebrities. And because she was behind the scenes, she didn’t care who got hurt by revealing lies or truths. And from this interview, I can tell they were friends. “Birds of a feather, flock together.” Both has abandoned ship and each other. More like Myra has abandoned ship and Elan abandoned Myra. With friends like these, who needs enemies. LOL!– But I do understand Elan’s motive for backing away and lying about her involment. She would be phucked up by the industry if this ever got out. Her life as she knows it will change for the worst.

Okay, after reading the comments and re-reading the interview I believe Elan fed Myra certain BI ’s but they may have been from when she first signed on to be apart of the Panache Report. I also believe she was a poster. Elan is so full of shit, yes give her props for taking the time out to address your questions, but that heffa knows far more than she’s leaving us to believe, read that article again, I will. She played a bigger role in PR. This shit is going to bust wide open, this is why they don’t want PRE to even talk about it. What could have been in it for Elan? Panache Report wasn’t making any money, so it couldn’t have been monetary compensation. Did she just like to spread gossip and lies? Was PR her feeble attempt at trying to stay relevant? IDK
I read a time or two on PR Elan was married to some rich guy, but I still can’t see someone getting associated with something as libelous as PR just out of the goodness of their hearts; not getting paid for it. Her family keeps her quite busy, so she said.
I’m left with more questions than answers.

Elan was the only one from the Myra’s crew who offered her condolences to me. She was very cordial and respectful. She stated she was the spokes person for Panache. I personally have nothing negative to say about her.

That’s when those personal tragedy’s occurred. I remember because I thought it was awfully nice of her to show some compassion towards me.

I had RSVP’d to attend the party in Houston and then something else came up and I couldn’t go. I only planned to go to be nosey and I really hate that I missed it because at least I would’ve been able to put faces with names. The poster “Deanna” was a faithful and popular PR poster who organized the Houston party… I wonder has she been informed about this blog yet and what she thinks about it.. Wow, somewhat surreal, to say the least! I enjoyed reading the PR BIs, comments, and lurking; little did I expect there was a way better story behind the scenes!!! I never really paid attention to the stories on the front page, they seemed a little off topic and dis-jointed, but hey, it wasn’t my site so I read what interested me the most. Hello all, it has been a long time since I posted on panache report.
but i was actually trying to locate a video that elan was in. a tupac video im sure you
all may remember…. well i couldn’t find it and i ran across. panache report exposed on lipstick alley.com and concrete loop.com. i clicked on it and it confirmed a lot of things for me.
so about 3 months ago, i was asking different questions about it like what’s going on? is this true, what’s happening, etc… i never saw it post on the board and i was thinking if its not true and you can shut people down then why not post it. I even emailed Myra and no I received no response. I then seached more and found 5 videos on youtube exposing Myra and her lies, mutliple personalities and everything… it was mindblowing yall. cause here we are thinking its all true and sometimes i would wonder if it was or not. i have been on the site after i made those posts and the comments were always closed. she banned me for asking a question! i couldn’t beleive it. i talk to a couple of ppl off of the board about all of this and they couldn’t believe it either. they hardly go up there anymore…. after reading all of that and then this. its just crazy what people will do. especially the ones saying how real they are and everyone else is fake. i noticed the mispellings, the grammar, etc. then as soon as KOS shows up then it downfalls. no KOS was not to blame. they had to blame someone and that was him.
Im just glad the word is out. shout out to everyone I talked to up there. Chi-town reader i remember you, englishmuffin, KOS, Bullrida, Seraiah, SororSalsa, SEL, Black Mai rose, Nubian and Mindsupreme yall are so missed, SHeknows miss u, Technogeek, Philly Poet… princessp

hi africasgem, thanks for the shoutout. i hope you are well. im here lurking daily just in shock at the audacity of myra panache. she really had me fooled. what killed it for me was the electronic cigarettes she said were just launched to international jetsetters in monaco. i have a house full of them i bought months before that for £19.99! and also dede the tree man. that story was so old they had already broadcast a follow up documentary on discovery channell over here in uk. myras story had no knowledge of recent updates on him, even a google check would have found. what a fake. also i read pablo escobars brothers interview in fhm magazine and the same month myra ran a story stealing it nearly word for word and put it on the front page.
anyway, i am forming my thoughts then will do a proper post but untill then back to lurk mode ! hello all talk soon x
She did post a lot of old info. I would just skip over it if I read it before. I could never read her stories because I noticed all of the errors. I could not understand how people actually paid for her stories. I read one of the intro’s and when I clicked on the link I said I will not be paying for no damn short story. The shirts were the worst.
I always thought they were full of ish.
