In all honesty, the only reason the Panache Report Exposed blog has grown so much is because Panache Report’s Comment Section is shut down. We all know its true. And hopefully it will remain shut down. There are no more of Myra Panache’s lies for the regular posters and lurkers to read and pass along to our friends and co-workers as though they were undisputed facts. Had PR’s comments section still be up and running we’d still be faithful readers. Chomping at the bit for Tuesdays and Thursdays to roll around.
And again, in all honesty, the only reason Panache Report lasted as long as it did was BECAUSE OF US. Because we allowed it to. Had enough of us called her on her crap, when we knew sometimes deep down it was crap, Panache Report would not have lasted nearly as long as it did.
Myra Panache didn’t perform any great Svengali act upon any one of us. We read the Blind Items and we wanted it to be true so we accepted what was written as the Gospel. Bottom line, we wanted to believe these rich, famous, beautiful and successful people’s lives were more effed up than our own. Maybe it gave us some comfort.
No matter how far fetched the information was we jumped on the bandwagon and practically dared anyone to have an opposing opinion. And Heaven help the person who dared to question some of the madness written on PR! That individual would be lit into from all four directions.
Was it jealously? Possibly. But maybe we need to check ourselves to see why it was so easy for us to buy into all of her fabrications with little or no question. Myra Panache didn’t do any more than we allowed her to. We LET this b***h run game!

I must admit, I was caught up in the hype. When I read that the BI section was going private and membership was by invite only, I was distraught. I emailed Myra and her security team several times requesting an invitation. Of course those emails were unanswered. Although, I never had proof of the allegations, it was interested to read. But looking back on it now, it was real dumb to try to put a name to some else lies. Why did we give Myra so much power? When did she become a creditable reporter? Did anyone ask to see credentials? My real question is, what does Wendy Williams have to say about this site PanacheExposed and allegations about her “good friend” Myra?
I disagree! This sounds like someone else’s rant that we should blame ourselves. Please! ALL of this was unknown to us. We were part of her game and didn’t know it so how are we to blame? Anyone who says that we have our selves to blame is a LIE! How can you blame yourself when the wool was being pulled over your eyes? Speak for yourself and refrain from using “us” and “we”.

I agree with a lot of what you said, but …. NO, the only reason PR is shut down is because PRE exists. Someone was brave enough and did call her on her crap and lies. The majority of the real posters did nothing, but someone did. Thanks to that brave soul and yes, people do need “to check ourselves to see why it was so easy for us to buy into all of her fabrications”, but they probably did not question anything because when they did they were gone with the quickness. But then, why were people afraid to be “banned” is the real question.
I still do read her stories daily. I did like to read the blind items, but I realized that they were just beauty shop gossip. The most ignorant blind item that I have read on the site was the story on the HIV celeb who was spreading the virus knowingly, and no one would report him. The last line of the story read that for legal reasons she and her crew could not report him either? I commented that this was irresponsible journalism, she and her crew jumped to the defense. I had to check myself for responding to the stupidity. I think what I will never understand is why no else thought the same way? I don’t care how much kool aid your drinking, how do you carry on for so long and not question a “Blind Item” on topics like rape?
Her site is the black version of the “Daily Globe”. The tabloids you read while waiting to check out. Is the Gucci of Tabloids. I mean she tried to tell us that Neiman Marcus only took Amex?? LoL..
I agree partially with your blog. You’re right, I am accountable for my own greed to be “in” on what I thought was an adult site with maturity. It was refreshing to me to not be on a site that was flooded with ignorant teens and 20 somethings yelling “first” or a coward racist typing the “N” word all throughout the board. Although I don’t feel I should have to explain why I left Panache or when I left, the most important thing to me is that I did. I smelled the bullsh*t back in late 08′ after Lit/Lauren called herself “checking” me on a BI guess that she didn’t agree with. After that I lurked for a week or two then I completely left it alone. Unfortunately I was still in the “know” because I hipped my sisters and a co-worker to the site and they would call me and give me the run down.. My sister hipped me to this site as well. I didn’t find this on my own or through search. I’m just glad someone put her on blast. And Who’s to say that a lot of the real posters and lurkers didn’t call her out? I’m sure a few did. But by her taking the cowards way out and moderating the board and her comments we would never know at that point in time anyway. At this point it doesn’t matter if someone was a die hard Panache junkie or only lurked for 1 day I think we’re all kicking ourselves for drinking the Kool-Aid.

I got tired of the endless writings I put out there that were never posted. The thing that really got under my skin was the fact that I posted in response to PhillyPoet one time in regards to Ifa, vodou, Santeria, etc. and it never hit the board and in that I brought up the first light bulb being from Egypt and then recently although that post never made it she had information from the site that I refered everyone to read. I was pissed that she would take peoples post and then repost them as her own.
I am sorry to see Myra Panache supposedly exposed. Her blind items were off the hook, maybe some of them were not 100 % accurate, so what. I learned a lot about politics, history and other important human interest stories, for example she was one of the first to report about racist Walmart pressing charges against a young black gifted college educated woman with no previous record whatsoeer currently facing 15 years for alledgedly jumping in line !!Now I see it is national news now that Al Sharpton and Boyce Watkins, oh and Tom Joyner is involved. Hope her site is not shut dowm….

Mrya was shut down because of PREx. PREx exists because of the LSA thread. That’s where it all started. That’s where it all came together. From the beginning of the thread till now all of the ex kool aid drinkers got together and started putting out heads together going over different theories and ideas. A few of those good peoople, springboarded of the thread and created PREx (I’m sure knowing that they would have full support and blessings from us ex kool aid drinkers). PREx took it to the next level and their actions shut that bitch down.
Sorry Carol but don’t put roses on Myra’s shoulders regarding the Heather Ellis case, that has been all over the internet especially black news/blog sites for while at least as early as September. Huffington post reported on it in October. Did you know that the majority of Myra’s front page was taken word for word from Wikipedia? Since wikipedia is an “open” site, you can copy it word for word and not end up in litigation because you did not credit the source.
I agree that we gave her some of the power. Whenever I read BIs I take them with a grain of salt. Like in real life, there is the truth, the lies and the middle. The real issue is that she had all the multiples that “contributed” to the conversation and nobody knew the conversation was one-sided. Friendships were made through her board that were nonexistent. I went to PR until Jan 09 and then left because my comments were moderated and if someone, even a longtimer, fell out of lockstep they were demeaned and then banned. The “Real” people that did post were civilized and formed intelligent conversations. I miss those conversations more than the gossip. Like I said above, I always looked down the middle of a BI and was entertained. All the other stuff like financial advice, books, cia/spy talk was BS and rational people don’t get that advice from a “Myra”. Or at least I hope not.
Man, that “red kool-aid” was good. I drank a lot of it. But, water is better for you, anyhow! I grew tired of the elitism and exclusions that was very evident. I rarely posted, so I chose to enjoy those posters who really made that blog different. I’ve been lurking for the last 3 years and it has changed in the worst way. Gorgeous Fable and Titillating Lauren got on my last nerves. The condescending tones and rude comments really made the site just like the rest of ‘em. I thought it was for the grown and sexy folks. The “I’m better than you” attitude made me realize that Myra and ‘nem are like crabs in a barrel. They attacked posters on the regular if you had an opinion unlike theirs. I enjoyed KOS, MindSupreme, Philly Poet, Negrita, and others that provided their own take on various subjects. It just became a great big ole clique. I applaud you folks for “flippin’ the script” on those snobs. I’m all for being successful big things, but to brag about all of your so called material wealth, but we are in a recession and your champagne and caviar ways was a turn off. Thanks PRE for the sounding board. It feels real good to know that the majority of the regular posters have made themselves be heard. PRE, is this going to be a board that will remain here for ex-addicts can come for treatment?i
Well dang! I didn’t know this site existed until yesterday. I was searching to see if anyone anywhere out there had been invited to the private board. I had a feeling the answer I’d find would be no. I guess that’s life in cyberspace. I’m always willing to give people the benefit of the doubt, especially when it seems like they’re being persecuted. I initially defended KOS against the attacks coming from Lobbyist and others. But then, the case was made that she was being harrassed behind the scenes. Being that she’s a lady, I was sympathetic and felt that was very creepy and potentially dangerous. And, in trying to get a sense of the bigger picture by reading these comments, it seems at least one authentically unhinged person was harrassing her. Someone posted her address online??? What if some crazy person had attacked her based on information supplied by that poster? It’s not that serious for anyone to be putting anyone else in harm’s way over blog b/s.
I didn’t delve too deep into the PR controversy. I hadn’t read the comments on LSA until now. I never read any of the Ballin’ series to judge whether or not it was poorly written. I know her front page was grammar challenged, but a lot of smart people wrestle with proper english, lol. Again, I was giving her the benefit of the doubt. It was obvious she seemed to know a lot of sex workers, but I just assumed that was the best source for gossip. There goes that benefit of the doubt thing again. The language pattern of GEPS always seemed forced, aka, fake to me, but he was amusing so I took that for what it was worth. I had a minor run-in with Lit/Lauryn who was attacking another poster who called her out about inflating real estate prices in Louisiana. Well, I’m in La. too, so I knew this poster was correct and said so. She got in a bit of a snit, I responded and that was that. I pretty much avoided her from then on out and she returned the favor. In hindsight, Lit/Lauryn seemed to have an issue with anyone who was very knowledgeable about the greater NOLA region–which I am–and where Lit/Lauryn implied she attended college and still hung out. Perhaps she felt threatened that she could be outed?? Who knows? When I first began to lurk, I e-mailed Myra a tip about Dwight Eisenhower having a black mother (this was when Barack Obama was still just running for Prez). She e-mailed me back a nice thank you. I think the e-mail mentioned something about a newsletter, but I never followed up on it and later deleted it. So, I can’t speak to the quality of her newsletter, either. It just wasn’t a big deal to me. I posted in another thread that I thought the luxury giveaway was fake, but again, that kind of stuff isn’t what I liked the best about the site anyway.
At any rate, I freely gave Myra the benefit of any doubt because, why not? She’s no threat to me, isn’t affecting my life one way or the other. I found alot of her posts interesting and the BI’s very intriguing. But the icing on the cake was the commenters. She managed to attract some smart, respectful, interesting people. Too bad I guess she didn’t know how to capitalize on that. It seemed at one point she was trying to broaden her scope by surveying the commenters on what they wanted to see on her blog. I thought she really was planning to branch out. Oh well. Life goes on. I do think some people are taking this a little too hard, though. I’m content to take it in stride and keep it moving.
Hello to all the cool commenters that I’m missing right about now. Hope everything is lovely with all of you. I’m lurking on a few more diverse sites these days (no gossip blogs, lol). I only post here and there on Huffington Post. I only really want to discuss history, politics, current events and spiritual things. I guess I’m over my gossip fixation!!
I was going to disagree with the comment about PREx’s growth but after reading the statement I have to somewhat … You are correct PREx has grown in followers/posters as a result of PR shutting down. That was to be expected a PR posters searched for an explanation beyond what was being offered by Myra. However I do not believe that is the only reason. I also don’t believe that all of us would still be there if it was up and running. I personnally left long before this and I know others had as well. Although we have to take responsibility for our own actions, it does not negate Myra being the catalyst to all that went down.
In regards to how we let this happen…I think it boils down to credibility. The fact that she had a “commercial” blog that she presented in a way that made it seem as if it was on par with other big name blogs that are legitimate. To add to that she had some B and C list supporters (Wendy Williams etc.) and personally fabricated info (CIA, Halle Barry etc.) to boost that credibility. I think that the only thing posters did wrong is take what was put out there at face value. That to me is common and not unusual to me.
It reminds me of how secretive T.V. Was before reality shows and the Internet came about. Back in the day it wasn’t known outside the industry just how fake and manipulated T.V really is.
I think if Myra wasn’t a tad bit touched and obessessed with building such an outrageous persona for herself and circle of friends and associates she could have steered that bus a little longer. I mean it’s been proven that we all fed on the fake gossip and gave the errors and poor writing a pass. The super secretive CIA rich diamond encrusted Myra and all her subjects is what made me give her and the whole site the side eye. It was all so far fetched it made me doubt everything. So her demise is her own doing and she has nobody to blame but herself.

Jlee I agree. I’ve always liked reading and watching about celebrities because that world can be fascinating because they seem to be so different then us “regular” folks. I’ve been on PR for almost 2 years. I won’t lie I liked PR up until the end even though like a lot of others I was disturbed by the graphic true life murder stories and hated the Mob/Thug movies. But I did like guessing who the BI’s were about. After a while though expecially this year the same theme kept popping up, balling out of control, DL (I know Hollywood has a lot of gay people but I was suspcious that practically everyone there is), etc and the same guesses of Floyd Merriwether, Diddy, Kim K, etc. I feel bad for those that were wronged by PR but I personally have no ill feelings because it was just a blog.
I appears that when people are doing a search for the now defunct panache report (yep that shitty ass site is DEAD!) PREx comes up. So this is giving the impression that this site is the result of PR shutting down.
Do not be fooled, PR shut down because of this site. I wish I could broadcast this. So, Jlee, I need to correct you, this site is not growing because of the demise of PR. PREx is simply an offshoot of the LSA thread(over 400 pages and growing) that has been going since March. A lot of people had already defected PR. In fact Myra indirectly fueled the creation of this blog by lying about the fact that she had anything to do with shutting down the YouTube videos.
As the PRExposers have mentioned, this site is solely dedicated to exposing the fraudulent and deranged character that is Myra Teresa Williams.

Like I said, I just found out about this site yesterday. I knew of the YouTube videos and said so on Myra’s site. A commenter tried to paint me as a multiple and I answered that person. I did not comment on the videos except to say I wouldn’t expend that kind of energy on cyberbeef and I still feel that way. That’s just me. I do find this site and the comments interesting, though.

Techie, I stand by that comment 100%. From what I’ve read on another thread the fake lawyer was behind a lot of crazy comments and at the time I thought the fake lawyer was behind everything along with some other folks that I thought “might” be behind it with her.
This is my last post regarding this because I don’t beef with strangers on the net. I observe and comment, sure, but I don’t beef. That crosses a weird line with me. And therein lies the gist of my previous comments. I get why people get upset, but I don’t get the borderline obssession. Online, most of us are NO ONE to each other. Not non-existent. I love the net and it’s good for a lot of stuff. Just in terms of when people can’t get along online or whatever–I don’t think that should be blown into a big deal unless someone takes it to the point of putting another in harm’s way or committing slander or libel (both of which are hard to prove legally–I got a “A” in Communications Law, smile SU Mass Comm survivors!). Otherwise, people can and do say whatever they want and that’s life. For example. I think Perez Hilton and Sandra Rose suck. I think they’re hateful and mean spirited and unhinged (unhinged–is this a common trait among bloggers these days??). But, I’m not going to cyber war with them. That’s what I was trying to articulate. We could cuss each other out, but at the end of the cuss out, we’d both still be just fine.

@Jlee, totally can agree with some of your views on the “PR situation. ” However, I’m straight up disagreeing with the “bitch gamed us all” conclusion. I never purchased a god damned thing from that broad. You know why? Because in the back of my mind I always has a small ounce of doubt. Not a whole lot, just a small amount that would never go away. I mean, a lot of the shit that went down on PR was just unbelievable.

Oh, she didn’t get sh** from me either. I don’t even let my CREDITORS do direct debits from my banking acount. I used to work at a bank and I know how they would sometimes do double debits in one month on customers accounts in error. That’s had me spooked ever since.

Where do i begin? I would post randomly on PR as A Fan in Cleveland. I initially found the site to be entertaining and informative, although a lot of the ‘information” seemed very far fetch. The thing that most ticks me off about Myra, is how are you supposed to be giving financial information out or referring readers to different financial websites when you filed bankruptcy and your site is worth less than the car I drive. A friend and I were actually getting ready to jump on some of the financial information that you put out there. But obviously there is a God and my friend couldn’t come through with the money so no investments were made. Had I followed your “advice” (slappiong myself for even following your bullshit), right now I would be looking for you. You owe each and every former reader of PR an apology and you need to have your internet access revoked permanently, so you cannot continue with your fuckery.

When it comes down to determining what’s the truth and what’s a lie on a Gossip Blog if you’re not personally acquainted with the entertainer I’m not sure how we can do that. But after Panache Report I’ve learned to take whatever gossip I read with a grain of salt.
But I was talking about all the bull I read on Panache Report to a friend the other day. I mentioned Salli Richardson and the Poop story. She chimed in with, “Oh I heard that about her and Biggie a long time ago.” Damn….
But all in all, maybe we should just stay out of these people’s business. We should probably be loading the dishwasher or dusting while we’re reading this crap anyway. Always start a new sentence with capital letters. Also, please use comma’s. A person’s name or a business should always be capitalized. When you ask a question there should be a question mark at the end of the sentence. Lastly, many of your sentences are run- on. I’m not perfect with my sentences or grammar format, but yours are ridiculous. You might want to work on that.
I always asked the same ole thing…and always got no reply from anybody. My request was always “why don’t Myra post about Black Mensa Members?” Are there any on the site? My mind was about the uplift….not the downdraft. Anyway, I now know why nothing truly positive was ever addressed correctly.

If the discovery of an entertainment site possibly being ,not what you thought it was brings you this much distress , you have problems that extend beyond your computer! No one forced anyone to visit the site. Everyone who entered was a willing participant ,including myself!It is your choice to believe what you read on a blog or discard it as hearsay and entertainment. I don’t know Myra personally but if she pulled the wool over this many readers eyes she has a hell of an imagination.I also don’t understand some of ongoing soap box ramblings, about posters who chose to remain fans of Panache a little longer, or in some cases alot longer than you. Ok I get that some of you are over the hype but at one time ,and not that long ago weren’t you too tuning in faithfully and talking about how addicted to the site you were? The drama is the one aspect that I started to dislike within the message board thread. It began to get too out of control and detract from the mature vibe!I saw some of the posters for what I felt they were “characters”. I did not have proof to back this up , but had my own inner thoughts. I had no interest in personally doing an investigation because no one was of that much interest to me .Why would I even waste the energy! We all know that cyberspace allows people to become who they want to be! When I posted on Panache a few posters tried to insinuate that I was a multiple or question whether I was a fake, but no I am not! I am a real woman with a real life , and the internet , including Panache is entertainment to me, and I treated it as such! Some of the stories were enjoyable and interesting but I’m not going to lose my mind over a site!
