No, this isn’t a “remember when music had meaning?” kind of post lol. This is a “remember when Myra said…” kind of post.
On March 8, 2009, Myra Panache ran a blind item that she heavily alluded to as being about Sade. The blind item read:
BLIND ITEM: (WHERE ARE THEY NOW?)
This black female celebrity has been away from the public eye for quite some time. Only this time, her absence has nothing to do with her vacationing or working on her next project.
According to our source, she spent time in an overseas jail (cover-up) for heroin possession and use. Allegedly, she’s currently on some type of home confinement. Her fixers made sure this didn’t make the newspapers
Although it’s been whispered in the industry for years, this particular celebrity may appear serene and well dressed but in reality, she’s always had a taste for drugs, mainly cocaine (she could barely get through an interview without sniffling) and now heroin and she’s a functional junkie.
People who have worked with her in the past say the experience is a nightmare because she can barely get through anything without excusing herself to administer a fix.
Allegedly, she went through withdrawal in jail but unfortunately, she enjoys getting high and has no intention of ever stopping.
This black female celebrity has a domestic and international following.

But a funny thing happened 6 months ago. Credible sites were reporting that Sade was working on a new album. Then 2 weeks ago something funnier happened. The album cover was released and an official release date was given. But we think yesterday’s events might just top it all off. For the first time in 10 years, we were blessed with new Sade material, making this comeback official.
This isn’t the first time Sade’s name been mixed up with heroin. In a 1993 interview with Jet Magazine, Sade revealed that she almost threatened a tabloid with legal action when she received word that they were going to print a story about her being a heroin addict.
We got to hear about it (before it was printed) and my solicitor (lawyer) rang them up and said ‘Look, we’re going to the police. We’re going to get her blood tested and you’re going to be sued major league if you print this story.’ That stopped them.

I have re evaluated my opinion of celebs because of Myra’s site. I no longer judge them, unless I know them personally. Think about it. We have 24 hour news. Tabloids & TV have a billion dollar industry based on the life of celebs and the more salacious the better. They would have to make up shit in order to keep the interest up!
i fell for some of that bullshit over there, but I only commented a few times, I hated the fact about some of the celebrities that they were talking about that was recycled garbage. I didn’t appreciate them airing out celeb’s health status, because of the hippa laws. Now it seems like everyone they talked about is in their good graces and talking positive about. I agree with technogeek on what she is bringing to the table with the new posters, and like I said I mainly posted a few times to give shoutouts for the holidays or my condolemces. I was known as sexy redbone there. I always loved the real mature people on there and you know who you are. Anyway, happy holidays to everyone and I love the LSA thread also.
i guess we need to question some of the “new” school blinds. the old school ones were mostly known and easily guessed.
there was a BI that many assumed was common who took care of a sick male friend. that BI wanted you to believe that he on the DL. i just thought that he was a good friend taking care of someone who was deathly ill.
forgot to say that now, i get the feeling that myra and her cyber siblings had it in for more attractive women for whatever reason. maybe she was snubbed at a gathering. lol.
there was a very attractive african amer model and actress, whom i cannot name right now, that GS loved to talk about her scandalous past, and CAPO made the comment that she ended up marrying some rich, “senile” white man who ‘probably’ didn’t know about her past. lmao. those were the times! i tell ya.
LOL,LOL, It’s actually kinda funny now if you think about it. They tried to make it seem like Halle posted on PR. Like Myra and Halle were friends, LOL,LOL,LOL. Lauren/Litigating was a Halle Berry lookalike, Diddy supposedly changed up his model line-up because of PR….The list goes on……………. They also idolized Heather Hunter (Porn Star), Naomi Campbell and all high priced hookers. If Gorgeous Sable, Madison and Playmate did exist, I believe they were all paid whores. I say that because if I am not mistaken, Sable eluded to the fact that Myra was a model scout aka Madam.
It’s good to see Sade, unevenly arched eyebrows and all, is back and with some good material to boot.
Dayum, Dayum, Dayum, I have every PR front page from the last year saved in a file, just so I would have something to read when I take trips.
I don’t wanna waste my time reading her junk. I think I will just throw it all in my recycle bin and empty it out. What a fake a$$ ish she is/was.
Oh yeah…I remember this particular BI. It broke my heart because I am a huge Sade fan. So I took what Myra said to heart because I do remember hearing some rumors about Sade struggling with drug abuse, even before Myra added her .02 cents. And now that Myra has been exposed, makes me wonder what else she’s either lied about or over exaggerrated.
I stans for Sade like this younger generation stans for Beyonce’. –Just looking back at it all, I feel that a lot of these BI’s done about female celebrities were done out of jealousy. Females she’s either had run ins with personally, or dealt with in her imaginary mind. Having said that. There was hardly ever a dull moment on her sick ass site.

OMG! I was LISTENING to Sade today and thinking of that lying Blind item Myra wrote….I gasped when I saw the post because of the coincidence. Sade is timeless, flawless, and beautiful like her music. Sade put out Diamond Life in 1984, then a year later she followed up with Promise…THREE years later, Love is Stronger than Pride….SIX years later, Love Deluxe….EIGHT years later…Lovers Rock…and here we are almost TEN years later getting Soldier of Love. Do you think Beyonce would still have die-hard fans if she waited so long to put out albums? I think one of the reasons she saturates the airwaves now is because she is trying to stay relevant. BUT Ms. SADE…she can put out an album 20 years from now and her fans will RUN out and buy it. Her music transports you to another place…its the real thing. When I read the blind item, I was crushed…talking about Sade is like talking about family, you hear me. She said the following regarding her long recording breaks:

I remember when this BI came out……I posted ……… think of the gist of a BI…posting all of someone’s deepest and darkest secrets… WHY???? Artists like SADE and even Beyonce entertain people their music can be played anytime we choose. So when people spend money to buy their CD’s or DVD’s or just plain some to a show, you are not just paying them for nothing. You are getting entertained. So they owe all of us absolutely nothing. Some people like whoever was running PR, feel that they owe them……. Or just maybe out of plain jealousy, they make stuff up. Why? And yes the stuff was interesting to read….I will admit. But when you think about it, why would anyone rejoice in a BI like this even if it was true? What good would it do if we found out that SADE really was an addict? Billie Holliday was and look what it did to her!
After I posted my 2 cents, someone tried to argue and I left it alone and then a few weeks later the comments were moderated. And now look. I wonder how Myra feels now that her business is out there? If anyone learns a lesson from all of this, it should be that WHAT GOES AROUND, COMES AROUND.

I knew that wasn’t Technogeek posting.
The comment section on PR is what kept me coming back for more. There were a couple of Blinds that I knew were true. Dawn Robinson was one of them as I had heard those comments straight from Dawn’s mouth. Some Bi’s made me angry,especially the one about the celebrity pedophile ring. That bi was not gossip! IF Myra knew the players involved why not call the police? Their were a few posters, myself included that posted that Myra should alert the authorities but Detroit Cop responded some excuse as to why that wasn’t possible.
But before moderation the comment board was live! I could refresh the site during the day and converse with posters in real time. That was cool for me especially as I live overseas. Grandma2x, Inyouguts,Bingo,Godiva,CTR use to make me LMAO!! Posters like these and others were the reason I liked coming to PR.
When I first starting posting on PR I made the comment that posters were like characters in a TV show. I wasn’t too far off, as we have come to find out that some of the popular posters where multiples.THAT IS MY ISSUE WITH MYRA. I never could understand why if her blog was so popular she didn’t want the fame and potential earnings of someone like Perez Hilton. But the only way that would be possible is if she had a public persona. Myra would be on The View, MTV etc dishing dirt just like Perez. But she wanted a “boutique” blog and wasn’t interested.
When I enter a public forum I am polite. If I disagree with someone I may ignore their comment or respectfully question their post. I never engaged with bashing posters or tried to run them off. I was never banned and my comments always posted. I don’t understand why posters wouldn’t expect to be attacked if they came on a site with guns blazing! What type of response are you expecting?

I called the FBI on that one (never admitted it until now). It was really distrubing that Myra would know this and not inform authorities. So I called the FBI hotline and told them that their was this blogger giving out tibits of info on a pedo ring. I explained that I did not know if it was true or not but I thought someone should know. They took my info but they never called me and I never called them back to follow up.
Thats the second time I’ve called them. The first time was when I was driving down the Eisenhower expressway and saw a man of middle eastern descent in the car lane next to me filming the CTA blue line track route. I took plate number make and model and called them since this happend about a week after 911. An agent called me back several days later to get more info from me (what did they look like, how many people in the car, could I identify them if I saw them again etc).
Good for you Technogeek! That was so disgusting, I don’t know what Myra’s intention was in posting that crime? I tried looking for it in her archives but could not find it.
MR WRONG – that song steered me away from a potentially bad relatioship years ago. As a matter of fact I used to play that song for friends who were in “selfish/non caring” relatioships.

@Technogeek – Myra’s multiples were always claiming that the FEDS and Inteligence communtiy were always visiting the sight. I think three of the multiples were named FED and Intel Intelligence and DETROIT COP, or something like that.
I said to myself “Why would the FEDS and Intelligence community come to PR to gather info to solve cases?” If thats the case, no wonder we haven’t caught OSAMA BIN LADEN or stopped the World Trade Center from being bombed twice. If they relied on a blog site to help to solve cases, then America, watch out.

Sade’s legal camp was more than likely oblivious to PR and Myra’s B.S. As PR Ex pointed out on a previous occasion, that site wasn’t receiving an ample amount of hits to be even considered a credible source. Now, that’s a far far cry from the status of most U.S. “tabloids” and it expains why Myra got away with her ridiculousness for so many years.
Had PR gained infamy and popularity along the lines of TMZ or Perez Hilton, i’m certain that the Blind Items in which Myra so carelessly concocted would have resulted in a series of lawsuits as previously executed by Sade.

IMO Myra just told info that was already known in Hollywood. I have a friend who is an actor and well known. When he first got in the business he was introduced to almost every major black celeb at that time. When I saw him shortly after that, he was able to tell me who was gay, who was bi, who was a cheater, everything after only a few weeks of making the LA/Hollywood circuit, so I really think a lot of it is common knowledge in the industry.
@ 44, for those of us who are not affiliated with the Hollywood life, Panache Report gave us insight into a different world. A lot of the information was not common knowledge. No other site, brought it like that.
On a different note, I think once Litigating started posting, things turned ugly. When she use to rip into someone, some posters use to cheer her on, SMH. I also think Litigating contributed to Myra’s downfall. She brought a negative energy to PR. After litigating left, it was never the same.

If you are not affiliated with Hollywood life, then it is very juicy gossip. I was hooked.
My point was if someone was in the industry, then IMO it seemed to be common knowledge.

And we can’t help but wonder why only Myra was privvy to so much of the seedy goings on with some celebrities. As horrific as some of PR’s insider information was, why, indeed, is it no one else was reporting a great deal of that stuff? Some of her ‘information’, if reported to the authorities, would have gotten a couple of celebrities in those BI’s some jailtime.
The reason no other site ‘brought it like that’ was because they didn’t have Myra’s very vivid imagination.
I’ve read a few comments questioning why Myra is being held accountable when some other Gossip Blogs aren’t being called out in the same fashion.
I, for one, don’t read Perez Hilton’s blog so I have no idea what’s being said over there. Panache Report was the only Gossip Blog I followed, so that’s the only one I can speak on.
My question is, “why shouldn’t she be held accountable?” She’s the one who printed the lies, isn’t she? Don’t YOU get checked when you get caught in a lie?
Should she be given a pass because it’s been assumed she’s Black and, I believe, most of the posters on Panache Report were Black as well? I certainly hope that’s not the direction those who are wondering why she’s being called out are headed. A lie is a lie. It doesn’t matter what color the liar happens to be.
If Myra were worried about her ‘good name’ being tarnished she could have very easily come onto Panache Report Exposed, created a thread of her own under the name Myra Panache or Panache Report and defended herself. But she hasn’t and I doubt she will.
If she hadn’t put herself in that position she wouldn’t have an expose’ to worry about.
And who knows, perhaps somebody is working on seeing that Perez Hilton’s feet are held to the fire, but right now, over here, Myra’s being put on the hot seat by her former readers. It’s HER turn.

Not all of it was imaginative. Do I believe all the info Myra posted, no I do not , but some of those BI’s and insider information was true. I’m sure there are some Hollywood insiders who comment on here, who can vouch.
Elan was Myra’s main inside source. That is why Elan is distancing herself from Myra because she doesn’t want it to get out that she was a co-creator of a gossip blog.
i agree #49 and #50. i especially believe MOST of the sexcapades stuff because after all myra and company lived in that world. i also believe that she had help from at least one or two other people to help with that site.
Don’t forget her “publicist” Makeda Smith. I believe she’s mixed up in this mess somehow.

M most certainly DID give answes to the BI’s through the “posters” that she made up. She claimed (through different sceen names) that they were “insiders”, leading unsuspecting people to “believe” what was being posted was true. And yes, people are too quick to believe anything negative, regardless of WHO is speading the negativity.
This is the poster who went by the name “Cocoalatte” on Panache Report! It was the “only” name that I went by on Panache! I never felt the need to create a long list of aliases! The site for me was mostly entertainment, which I stated several times . I had no ulterior motive for posting ,other than I often enjoyed the dialogue about the blind items , and front page stories! In that respect I am no different from many other posters! I have always been an outspoken woman with a mind of my own and I never kissed a*s over at Panache. That simply is not my style. I could care less who was who on Panache because finding out the identity of posters was never my MO! I enjoyed the information and exchange of mature dialogue among posters within the message board, until things became crazy! I don’t know Myra, or anyone else on Panache,and no I am not a figment of her imagination! I heard about the Exposing Panache videos on You tube, which I watched prior to them being removed from the site!
I think that some of you take the internet and blogs too seriously! You know that the internet allows people to become whomever they choose to be on any given day at any given time! lol Is Myra real? I don’t know! For me it wasn’t that deep. I have a real life off the web, so I did not allow the site to consume me, though I enjoyed it. I was disappointed when the message board was closed down, but hey it was what it was and life goes on!
